ULSD Price Premium Likely to Continue; Impact about Triple What U.S. EPA Predicted
In a U.S. Senate Energy & Natural Resources Committee hearing on diesel prices Sept. 23, U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) cited recent data showing that U.S. ultra-low sulfur diesel (ULSD) is typically trading in futures markets at about a 13-14 cents/gallon premium to relatively higher-sulfur No.2 heating oil (gasoil).

Skyrocketing Distillate Exports Rescue U.S. Refiners; Railroads Faring Better than Truckers
Wall Street debt rater Fitch notes that record U.S. distillate exports this year have helped U.S. refiners overcome an otherwise miserable year for gasoline margins and demand.
