Diesel/Urea Refills Made Easy for New Non-Road Diesel Engines - U.S. EPA
U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announced in the January 5, 2012, Federal Register that it will allow new non-road diesel engines to have a relatively small urea (also known as “diesel exhaust fluid,” DEF) storage tank – matching the diesel fuel tank capacity – for engines with selective catalytic-reduction (SCR) systems.

New Zealand-based biotech developer LanzaTech revealed to India Energy News January 2 that it plans to team-up with Indian Oil Corp. (IOC) and Jindal Steel & Power (JSPL) on a demonstration-scale scheme that would convert steel mill byproduct carbon monoxide (CO) to ethanol, and then convert ethanol to all-hydrocarbon kero-jet fuel.
