On November 9, the American Petroleum Institute and a coalition of farm and food groups both filed lawsuits with the Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit challenging the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) E15 waiver decision from October 13.

NPRA: EPA E15 Misfueling Regulations Won’t Protect Consumers
The National Petrochemical & Refiners Association reported November 16 that Gregory M. Scott, executive vice president and general counsel of NPRA testified at a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) public hearing Tuesday that proposed EPA regulations designed to prevent misfueling with gasoline containing 15% ethanol will fail to protect consumers.
