Refiners Seek Capacity In India’s Growing Strategic Petroleum Reserve

Two of India’s oil refiners in the regions of Visakhapatnam and Mangalore are said to be contracting space in the country’s new state-run Indian Strategic Petroleum Reserve (ISPR), according to a July 13 report by Religare Technova News Service. The current projects under construction, according to the report, include 3 crude cavern storage facilities with a combined capacity of 5.33 million tons, which equates to a 13- or 14-day supply for the nation.
