India Now Largest Petroleum Products Exporter In Asia
India has surpassed South Korea to become the largest exporter of petroleum products in Asia, according to recent data compiled by Platts. With the commissioning of a new refinery by Reliance Industries at Jamnagar and Essar Oil increasing output at Vandinar, India overtook South Korea by mid-2009 and has since consistently maintained the lead position, the data showed.
