Pakistan Boosts Diesel Import Plans for 2010

Pakistan State Oil (PSO) officials announced Nov. 24 that they plant to import about 2.5 million tons of diesel fuel from Kuwait Petroleum in 2010, according to a Reuters report.

Oil Futures Down

Oil futures lost ground Nov. 24. West Texas Intermediate fell by US$1.41 settling at US $76.15 per barrel (/bbl). Following suit, Brent crude fell by $1 to close at $76.46/bbl. RBOB gasoline lost 4¢ to close at $1.94 per gallon. The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries’ basket price was up by 95¢, closing at $76.73/bbl.
