Crude Oil Futures Reverse Downward Trend
The crude oil markets Jan. 19 ended five days of losses. The price of West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude for February delivery settled at US$79.02 per barrel (bbl), up $1.02 from Jan. 15. Brent crude for February delivery also went up, gaining 68¢ from the close of Jan.15, to settle at $77.78/bbl.
