Forecast: Market for Camelina Aviation Biofuels >US$5.5 Billion by 2025

Officials of Biomass Advisors on March 25 released a new report titled Camelina Aviation Biofuels Market Opportunity and Renewable Energy Strategy Report that forecasts more than 1 billion gallons of Camelina biofuel would be produced for the aviation and biodiesel sectors by 2025, creating 25,000 new jobs, producing more than US$5.5 billion in new revenues and $3.5 billion in new agricultural income for U.S. and Canadian farmers.

Emerson to Modernize Automation for LUKOIL Operations

Crude oil futures fell for a third day March 26. The price of West Texas Intermediate crude for May delivery fell 53¢, settling at $80 per barrel (/bbl), and Brent crude for May delivery lost 32¢ to close at $79.29/bbl.

Gulf Coast Crack Spread Down Slightly for Week Ending March 19

The 3-2-1 crack spread for the Gulf Coast slipped 1.48% from US$9.45 per barrel (/bbl) to US$9.31/bbl for the week ending March 19. The New York 3-2-1 crack spread fell 8.6% from $6.51/bbl to $5.95/bbl for the same period.
