Latest EPA Greenhouse Gas Inventory Report Shows Drop in Emissions

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) released April 15 the Inventory of U.S. Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Sinks: 1990-2008, its annual U.S. greenhouse gas inventory report, which shows a drop in overall emissions of 2.9% from 2007 to 2008. The EPA attributes the downward trend to a decrease in carbon dioxide emissions associated with fuel and electricity consumption.

Wisconsin Energy Bill Drops Low-Carbon Fuel Standard
